This is a fascinating documentary about the birds of Goa in southwest India.

Goa boasts more than 450 species of bird and has long been a top birdwatching destination. This documentary highlights the connections between Goa's villages, forests and birdlife. The film-makers are residents of Goa and have spent four years documenting the state's birds.

The film shows 114 species of birds, mostly in close-up detail. These include the Blue-faced Malkoha, Nilgiri Wood Pigeon and Indian Pitta.
